Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 3m

The ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 3m networking cable is a 3-metre white Ethernet lead designed to deliver high-speed, stable wired connections between networked devices. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) cabling and Cat6a specification, the cable supports elevated data rates and improved immunity to electromagnetic interference compared with lower-category cables. Standard RJ45 connectors at both ends provide broad compatibility with routers, switches, modems, network cards and other ethernet-enabled equipment.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise for more reliable signal transmission in congested or electrically noisy environments. Cat6a wiring supports higher bandwidth and longer reach at gigabit and 10-gigabit speeds where infrastructure permits. A 3 m length provides placement flexibility while keeping clutter manageable; the white jacket offers a discreet, clean appearance for home or office installations. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 plugs improve contact quality and resist corrosion for consistent performance over time.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and NAS devices to routers or switches
• Wired connections for smart TVs, game consoles and media players
• Office network workstations and small business network setups
• Temporary or permanent runs between patch panels and wall outlets within a 3 m span

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid with individually foiled pairs
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Color: White jacket
• Suitable for: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet where supported by networking equipment
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pairs

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and plug the other connector into the Ethernet port of the device you wish to connect. Ensure connectors click into place to secure the physical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and keep it separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power cables and large transformers. If connecting 10 Gigabit devices, confirm that both the cable run and the connected hardware support the required speeds.

Recommendations

For stable long-term performance, route the cable without sharp bends, avoid running it parallel alongside mains power lines for extended lengths, and secure it with cable clips or Velcro ties rather than adhesive tapes. Inspect connectors periodically for dust and damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are compromised.
