Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 7,5m

The ShiverPeaks RJ45/RJ45 Cat6a 7.5m networking cable is a 7.5-metre S/FTP cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It uses Cat6a specification to support elevated bandwidth and provides RJ45 connectors on both ends for compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet devices. The cable construction includes foil shielding around individual pairs and an overall braided shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity over longer runs.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved noise rejection compared with unshielded alternatives and is intended to maintain consistent throughput for demanding applications. Its 7.5 m length provides flexibility for device placement without the need for additional patch panels or couplers. The RJ45 connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports and the cable construction is designed for reliable mechanical and electrical connection.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and desktop computers in home or small office networks
• High-definition video streaming and online gaming where stable wired connection is required
• VoIP phones and IP cameras that require low-interference Ethernet links
• Temporary or semi-permanent patching between network equipment in server rooms or comms cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil shield for each pair + overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Supported applications: Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate distances

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the target device such as a PC, NAS or IP camera. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; keep the cable run within recommended installation practices to maintain signal performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for connections where shielded cabling is beneficial—such as near electrical equipment or in dense cable runs. Avoid sharp kinks, excessive pulling force and prolonged exposure to moisture. When installing in permanent infrastructure, follow local wiring codes and pair the cable with compatible Cat6a-rated hardware to achieve intended throughput.
