Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP711-SL0.25G 0,25m Cat6 U/UTP groen

The ShiverPeaks SP711-SL0.25G is a 0.25m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable designed for short-distance connections in structured and home networks. It features standard RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The cable uses U/UTP construction and is finished in green, making it easy to identify within patch panels and dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The compact 0.25m length reduces cable clutter and is suitable for connections between adjacent devices or ports. Cat6 performance supports high-speed data transfer appropriate for modern Ethernet applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and conductivity. The U/UTP shielding provides a basic level of protection against electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for tight routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting nearby network devices such as switches, patch panels, and workstations
• Patch panel and rack-mounted equipment with close port spacing
• Short horizontal links in office or home network installations
• Environments where color-coding helps cable management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with foil or unshielded twisted pairs as applicable)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Green

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring a secure click to confirm connection. Use the cable to connect adjacent ports on switches, patch panels, network cards, or other Ethernet-capable equipment. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; route the cable along existing cable management paths to maintain signal integrity and physical durability.

Recommendations

For best results, use this short Cat6 cable in close-proximity connections where a full-length cable would cause excess slack. Verify port compatibility and ensure devices support the intended network speed. Replace the cable if connectors show signs of wear or if data errors occur.
