Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP711-SL0.5G groen 0,5m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP711-SL0.5G Green 0.5m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable is a short patch lead designed for reliable Ethernet connections where space is limited. Built to Cat6 performance parameters, the cable supports high-speed data transmission for wired networks while the U/UTP construction provides basic shielding to reduce external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contacts and consistent conductivity, and the green jacket offers clear visual identification within wiring bundles and patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable delivers stable gigabit-capable performance over short distances, combining reduced electromagnetic interference with dependable copper conductors. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and resist corrosion, improving long-term signal quality. Its 0.5 m length minimizes slack in dense rack environments and the colored outer jacket simplifies organization and cable tracing in complex installations.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance class suitable for gigabit Ethernet
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with U-foil or unshielded twisted pairs depending on construction)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Conductor material: copper (solid or stranded depending on specific assembly)
• Outer jacket color: green for easy identification

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the matching Ethernet ports of your devices until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m cable for short patching between adjacent ports on switches, patch panels, servers or desktop equipment. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from strong sources of electrical noise for best signal integrity. If routing through cable management channels, ensure the bend radius recommendations for Cat6 cables are respected.
