Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP713-SL grijs 3m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks SP713-SL Grey 3m Cat6 U/UTP networking cable provides a standard-length connection for Ethernet networks using Category 6 performance. Constructed with unshielded pairs and an overall U/UTP arrangement, it is designed to reduce external interference compared with basic UTP cables while maintaining flexibility for routing and installation. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support reliable conductivity and consistent signal transmission. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for office desks, patch panels, or residential installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with a U/UTP configuration to deliver improved immunity to external noise relative to plain UTP construction, while remaining flexible enough for typical home and office cable management. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance, helping to maintain stable data transfer. The 3 m length covers common distances between network equipment such as routers, switches, and wall outlets without adding unnecessary slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network printers to routers or switches
• Patch connections between switches and patch panels in small office racks
• Home network links between routers and media players, smart TVs, or NAS devices

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with screened pairs arrangement as provided)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your networking devices until the latch clicks into place. For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable run; maintain gentle curves and secure the cable with clips or ties if needed. Use the 3 m length for direct desk-to-equipment connections or between nearby rack components. When disconnecting, press the connector latch before pulling to prevent damage to the plug or port.

Recommendations

Place the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large AC power transformers and unshielded fluorescent lighting runs. For installations requiring higher resistance to EMI or for longer permanent runs, consider shielded cable types or structured cabling practices; use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for typical short to medium indoor connections where flexibility and reliable signal contact are priorities.
