Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks SP713-SLR 3m Cat6 U/UTP rood

The ShiverPeaks SP713-SLR 3m Cat6 U/UTP Red networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for local area networks and point-to-point links. Constructed to Cat6 specifications, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and is suitable for environments where reduced interference and consistent signal quality are required. It comes in a 3-meter length with U/UTP (unshielded pairs, overall unshielded) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact and corrosion resistance. The red jacket offers clear visual identification in patch panels and cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6 specification ensures support for higher bandwidths and enhanced next‑generation network performance compared with lower-category cables. U/UTP construction minimizes crosstalk between pairs while maintaining flexibility for routing through cable trays and conduits. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact resistance over time and reduce the risk of signal degradation due to oxidation. The 3 m length is convenient for desktop, rack, and short-run connections where a tidy, color-coded cable is preferred.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches, and routers within home and office networks
• Patch panel and rack-to-equipment cabling in server rooms and network cabinets
• Point-to-point links for printers, NAS, or media devices requiring reliable wired throughput
• Temporary setups and demonstrations where visible, color-coded cabling is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Cable construction: U/UTP (unshielded pairs, overall unshielded)
• Length: 3 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Color: Red
• Conductor: stranded copper for flexibility (suitable for patching)

How to use

Insert each end of the cable into the RJ-45 ports of the devices you intend to connect, ensuring a firm click to confirm proper engagement. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks; maintain gentle bend radii and route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the 3 m length to create tidy connections between wall outlets, patch panels, switches, routers, or end devices. If using in a rack, secure excess cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent Cat6 performance, pair this cable with compatible Cat6-compliant equipment and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. When organizing multiple cables, use proper labeling and color-coding to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
