Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 3m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 3m networking cable is a 3-metre unshielded twisted pair cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, this Cat6 cable supports high-speed data transmission and stable signal integrity for home and office networks. The cable's yellow jacket makes it easy to identify within cable bundles and adds a clear visual cue for structured cabling systems.

Advantages

This Cat. 6 U/UTP cable provides improved transmission performance for gigabit networks and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and minimize oxidation for longer connector life. The 3 m length offers flexibility in device placement without excess slack, while the brightly colored outer sheath simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and PCs
• Patch panel and wall port to workstation links in small offices
• Home network connections for streaming, gaming and media devices
• Temporary network setups and test environments where quick identification is useful

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 6 (Class E equivalent)
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall unshielded, twisted pairs)
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Yellow outer jacket
• Conductor: 4 twisted pairs, copper

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet port of your device until it clicks. For best results, route the cable to avoid tight bends and heavy compression; maintain a gentle bend radius and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as high-power electrical equipment. Use the 3 m length to connect nearby devices like switches, routers, desktop computers, or media players without the need for additional extenders.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat. 6 cable for connections up to gigabit speeds and in environments where visual cable identification helps with maintenance. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines for extended distances; if installation near significant EMI sources is required, consider shielded cable alternatives.
