Netwerkkabel Telegärtner CAT6a 5m lila S/FTP

The Telegärtner CAT6a 5m Lilac S/FTP networking cable is a 5-metre, factory-terminated Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding, the cable supports frequencies and performance typical of CAT6a installations and is intended for use in structured cabling, desktop connections and patch panels. The lilac jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable environments while the robust construction helps maintain consistent signal integrity in typical home and office setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding design reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between pairs, improving throughput stability in electrically noisy environments. The 5 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch or patch panel connections without excess slack. Factory-fitted RJ-45 plugs ensure compatibility with standard network devices and minimize the need for additional termination tools or on-site crimping. The colour-coded lilac jacket simplifies cable management and identification in racks and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, printers or networked devices to switches or patch panels
• Short to medium patch runs in office, data cabinet or home network environments
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where improved shielding is beneficial
• Structured cabling where colour-coded identification is used for network segmentation

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6a (augmented Category 6) suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances
• Length: 5 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid/foil with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, factory-terminated
• Jacket colour: lilac
• Construction: stranded conductor suitable for patching applications

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (PC, switch, patch panel or router) and the other connector into the corresponding port at the opposite end. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of high electromagnetic interference where possible. For rack or cabinet installations, use appropriate cable management such as horizontal managers or Velcro ties to maintain bend radius and reduce mechanical strain.

Lietošana — ieteikumi

Izvairieties no pārmērīgas kabeļa stiepšanas un asiem saliekumiem; nodrošiniet, lai pieslēgvietas būtu pilnībā iestiprinātas. S/FTP apvalks nodrošina papildu aizsardzību pret elektromagnētiskiem traucējumiem, tomēr izvairieties no stipraem elektroierīču tuvuma, ja iespējams.
