Netwerkkabel Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH-5,0 grijs 5 m

The Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH-5,0 is a 5‑metre grey networking patch cable made from low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) material, designed for reliable data transmission in office and cabinet environments. It is available in different categories and lengths; when used with Cat.7 bulk cables the transmission properties exceed Channel Class E according to ISO/IEC 11801 (2nd edition) and relevant certifications confirm these characteristics. The cable is intended for use in areas with protection class IP20 and features a moulded strain relief and latch protection for improved durability.

Advantages

The cable combines LSZH jacket material for reduced toxic fumes in case of fire with a robust, moulded strain relief and integrated latch protection that prevents connector damage and accidental disconnection. Cat.5e variants meet the increased requirements for Gigabit Ethernet as defined by ISO/IEC 11801 (2nd edition) for Class D channels, while Cat.7 configurations exceed Channel Class E transmission criteria when paired with appropriate bulk cables. The product is offered in multiple colours and lengths to suit different installation needs.

Suitable for

• Office network patching and workstation connections
• Network cabling inside control cabinets and electrical cabinets (IP20 areas)
• Gigabit Ethernet installations using Cat.5e or higher
• Environments requiring LSZH jackets for improved fire safety

How to use

Connect one RJ45-terminated end of the Telegärtner MP8 FS 600 LSZH-5,0 to the network device (switch, patch panel or workstation) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to secure the connection. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it under mechanical stress to maintain transmission performance and prolong service life.

Recommendations

For best performance, use Cat.5e or Cat.7 patch cables and compatible bulk cabling that meet ISO/IEC 11801 requirements for the desired channel class. Install within IP20-rated enclosures or indoor office spaces, and avoid exposure to outdoor conditions or direct mechanical damage. Regularly inspect latch and strain relief for wear in high-use installations.
