Netwerkkabel Ubiquiti UACC-CABLE-PATCH-OUTDOOR-2M-BK RJ-45 Cat5e 2m zwart

The UISP Patch Cable Outdoor is a rugged, weatherproof patch cable engineered for outdoor UISP deployments that require reliable protection from moisture, dust, and electrostatic discharge. It combines a shielded RJ45 plug, internal foil shielding, and a built-in ESD drain wire within an insulating, weather-resistant jacket. Available in multiple lengths (1, 2, 3, 5, 8 meters) to match installation needs.

Advantages

The cable provides enhanced protection against environmental factors thanks to its weatherproof jacket and internal shielding. The shielded RJ45 plug and integrated ESD drain wire reduce the risk of signal interference and static-related damage. Multiple available lengths simplify outdoor installations by allowing precise cable routing between devices.

Key specifications

• Connector: shielded RJ45 plug
• Shielding: internal foil shielding
• ESD protection: built-in ESD drain wire
• Jacket: weatherproof, insulating outer jacket
• Available lengths: 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, 5 m, 8 m

How to use

Select the cable length that reaches between your outdoor UISP devices without excessive slack. Connect the shielded RJ45 plug to the corresponding Ethernet port, ensuring a secure fit. Route the cable along protected paths and secure it to mounts or cable ties as needed; avoid sharp bends and exposure points that could compromise the jacket. Verify connectivity after installation and check grounding practices for the deployment to maximize ESD protection.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor reliability, choose the shortest length that meets your layout requirements, mount the cable to reduce movement, and inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or damage. Follow grounding and surge-protection best practices for outdoor network equipment.
