Netwerkkabel V7 CAT6 Ethernet afgeschermd STP RJ-45 5 m groen

The V7 CAT6 Ethernet Shielded STP RJ-45 network cable, 5 m in length and finished in green, connects devices to 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks using RJ-45 connectors on both ends. With a data transfer rate up to 1000 Mbit/s and S/FTP shielding, the cable is intended for high-speed Ethernet connections and offers protection against electromagnetic interference for more reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

The cable provides gigabit data speeds (1000 Mbit/s) and S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Molded RJ-45 connectors ensure a secure and durable connection, while the 5 m length offers flexibility in typical home or office network layouts. The green jacket helps with cable identification and organization.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit Ethernet connections between computers, switches and routers
• Connecting networked devices such as NAS, printers and media players
• Structured cabling runs in small office and home office (SOHO) environments
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference (shielded runs)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect (for example, a computer and a switch or router). Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a proper mechanical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields to preserve the shielding effectiveness and signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this shielded CAT6 cable in shielded installation environments and ensure both connected devices and patch panels support the cable's grounding to take full advantage of the S/FTP shielding. Avoid excessive bending and physical stress on connectors; replace the cable if the jacket or shielding is visibly damaged.
