Netwerkkabel VALUE UTP-kabel Cat.6 RJ-45 3m grijs

VALUE UTP Cable Cat.6 RJ-45 3m Grey is a Cat6 patch cable for networking connections between devices. It is a 3 m U/UTP (unshielded Twisted Pair) cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, constructed from 4-pair stranded copper wire and finished in grey. The cable is halogen-free, flame retardant and low smoke for safer installation environments. Contact configuration is 1:1 in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Advantages

The cable offers moulded kink protection at each connector and high-quality plugs with gold-plated contacts for reliable interface contact and reduced corrosion. Its flexible design supports narrow bends and easy routing in confined spaces, while U/UTP construction minimises interference for stable data transmission over typical Cat6 distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• Patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling installations
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where a 3 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP Cat.6 (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Contact mapping: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Plugs: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey
• Safety: halogen-free, flame retardant, low smoke

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges or overly tight bends and secure it with cable ties or organisers if necessary. For structured installations, label each end to match port assignments.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 cable within typical horizontal cabling lengths (up to 100 m total channel length) and avoid running parallel to power cables for long distances to reduce potential interference.
