Netwerkswitch Trendnet TEG-S750 10G Ethernet 5 poorten zwart

The Trendnet TEG-S750 10G Ethernet 5 Ports Black is a compact unmanaged network switch designed to deliver multi-gigabit performance over five RJ-45 ports. It supports 10G Ethernet speeds while remaining compatible with 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps devices, providing a simple path for upgrading workstation, server, or NAS connectivity without complex configuration. The metal enclosure in black combines durability with a small footprint suitable for desktop or rack-adjacent placement.

Advantages

The switch offers five 10G-capable RJ-45 ports that auto-negotiate across 100/1000/10000 rates for flexible deployment with mixed devices. Its unmanaged design provides plug-and-play operation requiring no configuration, while the sturdy metal housing ensures reliable operation in office or lab environments. Energy-efficient operation reduces power draw compared to older multiport switches, and the compact size simplifies placement in constrained spaces.

Suitable for

• Small office and home office networks requiring higher throughput for file sharing and backups
• Connecting multi-gigabit NAS, servers, or workstation computers
• Edge aggregation for wireless access points or media streaming devices
• Lab or test benches where simple, high-speed connectivity is needed

Key specifications

• Number of RJ-45 ports: 5
• Supported link speeds: 10G / 1G / 100 Mbps
• Port type: 10G Ethernet over copper (10GBASE-T)
• Form factor: desktop / small footprint metal enclosure
• Color: Black

How to use

Place the Trendnet TEG-S750 on a stable surface near power and network connections. Connect devices using standard Cat6a or better cabling to achieve 10G speeds; the ports will auto-negotiate to the highest supported rate for each link. Power the unit and verify link/activity LEDs to confirm connectivity. No software configuration is required for basic switching and traffic forwarding.

Recommendations

For optimal 10G performance, use certified Cat6a or Cat7 copper cables and ensure connected devices support 10GBASE-T. Position the switch in a well-ventilated area to prevent heat buildup. When integrating with mixed-speed networks, verify server or NAS settings to enable multi-gigabit operation and consider direct connections for bandwidth-sensitive applications such as large file transfers and media editing.
