Newland CBL026U kabel-adapter RJ-45 USB-A zwart 2 m

The Newland CBL026U cable gender changer RJ-45 USB-A Black 2m is a 2-metre interconnect cable designed to adapt connection types between devices that use RJ-45 and USB-A interfaces. Its black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance while the molded connectors offer stable mechanical fit. The cable supports simple physical adaptation where one device requires an RJ-45 interface and the other uses a USB-A port, enabling flexible routing and placement within desks, kiosks, POS systems, or workplace setups.

Advantages

This cable offers a straightforward way to bridge different connector standards without additional adapters or complex wiring. The 2 m length gives flexibility for device placement and prevents tension on ports. The black outer sheath reduces visual distraction in professional environments. Designed for durability, the molded connector ends improve strain relief and help maintain consistent contact alignment over repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices in point-of-sale (POS) systems and kiosks
• Linking peripherals or adapters that require RJ-45 to USB-A adaptation
• Desk and workstation cabling where a 2 m reach is needed
• Temporary or permanent setups in offices, retail, or service counters

Key specifications

• Connector type A: RJ-45
• Connector type B: USB-A
• Cable length: 2 m
• Colour: Black
• Construction: molded connector ends with strain relief

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 end into the device or adapter that accepts an RJ-45 connector and plug the USB-A end into the corresponding USB-A port. Ensure connectors are aligned and fully seated to maintain reliable electrical contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce strain on connector joints. If the connected devices require software drivers or configuration, complete those steps according to the device manufacturer’s instructions before use.

Recommendations

Use the cable indoors in dry environments and avoid exposing it to excessive heat, moisture, or mechanical abrasion. For permanent installations, secure the cable with clips or ties to prevent tugging on ports; for temporary setups verify connector seating periodically. If signal or functionality issues occur, inspect the connectors for debris and check both device ports for compatibility and required settings.
