Its Bluetooth connection means quick setup with your phone, and the Tuya Smart app provides flexible scheduling options. The valve is built to withstand outdoor conditions with an IPX5 water resistance rating and a wide operating temperature range, making it reliable for most garden environments.

Ideal use cases

• Automated watering for garden beds, lawns, and potted plants
• Remote control of irrigation when away from home (with Tuya Bluetooth Gateway)

• Manual watering via the button for quick tasks without the app

Good to know

Installation is simple: attach the valve to your outdoor faucet using the included adapters, insert four AA batteries, and pair it with the Tuya Smart app. For remote access beyond Bluetooth range, a Tuya Bluetooth Gateway (sold separately) is required. The valve's IPX5 rating means it can handle splashing water from any direction, but it should not be submerged. Battery life depends on usage and environmental conditions; alkaline batteries are recommended for best performance.
