Zonnefilter SW voor 180mm Maksutov-Cassegrain - wit licht, OD 5.0, Baader-folie

Unlike generic solar filters that force you to compromise on aperture or risk unsafe viewing, the Solar Filter SW is engineered specifically for the Sky-Watcher 180mm Maksutov-Cassegrain, delivering full-aperture white light solar observation with uncompromising safety. Its precision-machined cell and premium Baader AstroSolar film provide razor-sharp views of sunspots, faculae, and granulation, while blocking 99.999% of incoming sunlight across the entire spectrum.

Highlights

• Full 180 mm clear aperture for maximum resolution and light grasp
• Optical density 5.0 (transmission 0.00001%) – safe for direct visual use
• Certified to ISO 12312-2:2015 for direct solar viewing
• Front-mounted, friction-fit design with soft felt lining – no tools needed
• Baader AstroSolar Safety Film – industry-leading optical quality
• Blocks harmful UV and IR radiation completely
• Natural white/yellowish solar image – no false colour
• Durable anodized aluminum cell with protective front ring

In daily use

Slip the filter over the front of your 180mm Maksutov-Cassegrain and you're ready for a day of solar exploration. The felt-lined cell grips securely without scratching the tube, and the large aperture allows high-magnification views of active regions and the subtle texture of the photosphere. For astrophotography, the filter's uniform transmission and flat optical surface ensure even illumination across the entire sensor, making it ideal for full-disc and high-resolution solar imaging.
