Noctua 80 mm behuizingsventilator NF-R8 REDUX-1800, 1800 tpm, 53,3 CFM, 17,1 dB, 3-pin, 12 V

The Noctua NF-R8 redux-1800 is an 80 mm computer case fan engineered for efficient airflow and quiet operation. This redux edition reissues Noctua’s classic NF-R8 design in a streamlined, affordably priced package that retains the essential premium components: an industry-grade SSO bearing, Smooth Commutation Drive 2 and an MTBF rating above 150,000 hours. The 1800 RPM version offers a balanced combination of performance and low noise for case ventilation and other compact cooling applications.

Advantages

The fan combines the proven NF-R8 blade and frame geometry with Noctua’s SSO-bearing technology for long-term stability and low noise. Smooth Commutation Drive 2 reduces torque variations and switching noises, improving running smoothness. The redux-1800 model carries an MTBF rating of over 150,000 hours and is covered by a full 6 years manufacturer’s warranty. Its compact 80 mm size and neutral grey/black colour suit a wide range of builds.

Suitable for

• PC case ventilation in compact or standard builds
• Small form-factor systems and HTPCs
• Cooling blower intakes or exhausts in restricted spaces

How to use

Install the fan in your case or device using the appropriate mounting points for 80 mm fans, observing polarity and connector type. Connect to a 3-pin fan header or compatible power source at 12 V and secure the fan with screws or anti-vibration mounts as required. Place the fan so that airflow direction matches your cooling layout (intake or exhaust). If necessary, use Noctua accessories such as Low-Noise-Adaptors, extension cables or anti-vibration mounts to adapt noise or cabling to your setup.

Recommendations

For best results use the NF-R8 redux-1800 in case ventilation or compact cooling positions where a balance of airflow and low noise is required; consider lowering speed with a Low-Noise-Adaptor for quieter operation when full 1800 RPM is unnecessary.
