Omnidirectionele antenne DeLOCK 12701

The DeLOCK 12701 omni-directional antenna is a compact outdoor antenna designed for use in the 5.15–5.875 GHz frequency range. It provides a maximum gain of 6 dBi, features dual polarization and an N-type connector, and is suitable for extending or improving WLAN coverage where outdoor installation is required. The antenna is lightweight and weatherproof, allowing straightforward mounting on poles or enclosures.

Advantages

The antenna offers omni-directional radiation for uniform horizontal coverage, a 6 dBi gain to increase signal range, and dual polarization to improve link reliability. Its N-type connector ensures compatibility with common outdoor radio equipment, and the compact, lightweight design simplifies installation and reduces load on mounting structures.

Suitable for

• Outdoor Wi‑Fi coverage extension at 5 GHz
• Point-to-multipoint WLAN links
• Integration with access points, routers and client radios using N-type connectors
• Environments requiring weatherproof external antennas

How to use

Mount the DeLOCK 12701 antenna outdoors in a location with clear line of sight where possible. Connect the antenna to the radio device using a compatible N-type cable and tighten the connector to ensure a secure, weather-resistant connection. Orient the antenna vertically for standard dual-polarization operation. After installation, verify signal strength and adjust position or height to optimize coverage.

Recommendations

For best performance, install the antenna at a suitable height above surrounding obstructions and use low-loss, weather-rated N-type coaxial cable. Ensure connectors and cable entry points are sealed to maintain waterproofing.
