Omnidirectionele marine-antenne Poynting A-OMNI-0404-V1-01 5G LTE 2 dBi

Poynting A-OMNI-0404-V1-01 is an omni-directional marine antenna engineered for reliable 5G and LTE reception with a measured gain of 2 dBi. Designed specifically for maritime environments, the antenna offers uniform signal coverage around vessels to support cellular data and voice services. Its compact form factor and weather-resistant construction make it suitable for installation on boats, yachts and offshore structures where continuous omnidirectional connectivity and mobile broadband access are required.

Advantages

The antenna delivers consistent 360° coverage which reduces the need to orient equipment toward specific cell towers. Waterproof and corrosion-resistant materials extend service life in saltwater environments while the low-profile design minimizes windage and visual impact. The integrated design supports a broad frequency range for both 5G and LTE bands, enabling stable mobile broadband and backup connectivity without complex alignment.

Suitable for

• Small boats, yachts and leisure craft requiring continuous cellular data
• Commercial vessels and workboats for crew communications and telemetry
• Offshore installations and buoys needing mobile backup connectivity
• Applications where omnidirectional reception simplifies installation and coverage

Key specifications

• Antenna type: omni-directional
• Frequency support: 5G and LTE cellular bands
• Gain: 2 dBi
• Environment: marine-grade, weather and corrosion resistant
• Form factor: compact, low-profile design

How to use

Mount the antenna at a clear, elevated position on the vessel free from large metal obstructions and with an unobstructed horizontal view where possible. Use appropriate marine-grade mounting hardware and sealed cable glands to preserve watertight integrity. Connect the antenna to the cellular modem or router using a compatible coaxial cable and ensure connectors are tightened to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations. After installation, verify signal levels and adjust the mounting location if necessary to optimize reception.

Recommendations

For best results, place the antenna as high as practical and away from other antennas or large metal structures. Regularly inspect mounting points and cable seals for corrosion or wear, and replace cables or connectors showing degradation to maintain reliable 5G/LTE performance in marine conditions.
