Omnitronic audio-adapter 6,35 mm jackstekker naar 3,5 mm jackbus stereo 3022631Z

The Omnitronic audio adapter 6.35mm male to 3.5mm female stereo 3022631Z is a compact metal adapter that converts a 6.35 mm (1/4") male stereo plug to a 3.5 mm female stereo jack. It enables connection of headphones, audio cables or portable devices with 3.5 mm plugs to audio equipment featuring 6.35 mm inputs, including mixers, amplifiers, keyboards and other instruments. The adapter's metal construction provides a stable mechanical connection and reliable electrical contact while keeping the form factor small for space-constrained setups.

Advantages

The adapter offers a simple and durable mechanical design that minimizes signal loss through a direct stereo contact path. Its compact size allows use in crowded jack panels and makes it easy to carry in a gig bag or equipment case. The metal housing resists wear from repeated insertions and provides consistent alignment between plug and jack, reducing intermittent contacts during live performance or studio sessions.

How to use

Insert the 6.35 mm male plug of the adapter into the 6.35 mm input on the audio device until it seats firmly. Then plug the 3.5 mm stereo connector of the headphone or cable into the adapter's female jack. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain proper stereo channels and avoid intermittent contact. Remove the adapter by gently pulling it straight out to prevent bending the plug. No tools or power are required for operation.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid applying sideways force to the adapter while connected and inspect the contacts regularly if used frequently. Use the adapter with cables and headphones that match the intended stereo TRS wiring; it is not designed for balanced TRS to TRS conversions or microphone wiring schemes that require specific pin assignments.
