Omnitronic CST-5 2-weg plafondluidspreker 5,25 inch 30W RMS 8 ohm wit 80710212

The Omnitronic CST-5 is a 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker that delivers clear, balanced sound with a 5.25-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter, making it an excellent choice for background music and paging in commercial or residential spaces. Its 30W RMS power handling and 88 dB sensitivity ensure reliable performance even in larger rooms, while the 100° dispersion angle covers a wide listening area from a single mounting point.

Advantages

The CST-5 combines easy installation with durable construction. The metal grille is paintable to match any ceiling, and the spring terminals allow quick, tool-free wiring. The coaxial design aligns the tweeter and woofer for coherent sound, and the 8-ohm impedance makes it compatible with most standard amplifiers. With a cutout diameter of 160 mm and a mounting depth of only 65 mm, it fits into shallow ceiling cavities without compromising audio quality.

Suitable for

• Background music in restaurants, cafes, and retail stores
• Paging and announcements in offices, schools, and hospitals
• Home audio systems in kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways
• Multi-room audio installations where a discreet look is desired

Recommendations

For best results, pair the CST-5 with an amplifier that delivers 20–60 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Use a high-pass filter at 80 Hz if a subwoofer is part of the system. When installing multiple speakers, space them evenly to achieve uniform coverage, and consider using a speaker selector with impedance protection for larger zones.
