The Omnitronic ELA LS-Regler 10 W mono white volume controller is a compact level control device designed for public address and emergency loudspeaker (ELA) systems. It provides a single-channel analogue volume adjustment in a discreet white housing suitable for wall or panel mounting. The controller is intended to offer straightforward, local control of speaker output in commercial and institutional environments such as halls, corridors and retail spaces.

Advantages

The unit delivers simple and precise attenuation for one channel with a rated output power of 10 W, allowing local adjustment without altering central system settings. Its compact, neutral-coloured enclosure integrates with common interior designs and supports surface or panel installation. The device is engineered for compatibility with public address and emergency loudspeaker installations, offering reliable mechanical control and easy access for facility staff.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the volume controller to a suitable wall or panel location near the speaker or zone it will control, following local electrical and safety regulations. Connect the controller in-line with the speaker cable so that it attenuates the signal feed to the target loudspeaker. Adjust the control knob to set the required volume level; the unit provides continuous attenuation up to its rated power. Ensure system power is removed during installation and wiring checks are completed before energising the system.

Recommendations

Install the controller in accessible but tamper-resistant positions to allow authorised staff to adjust levels without exposing wiring or controls to accidental damage. For emergency loudspeaker systems, maintain compliance with local codes by ensuring the controller does not interrupt required alarm signal paths and is installed according to the system design.
