ONLINE USV-Systeme XANTO 700R uninterruptible power supply 0,7 kVA

The ONLINE USV-Systeme XANTO 700R Uninterruptible Power Supply 0.7 kVA is a double-conversion (online) UPS designed to protect servers, network equipment and sensitive IT applications against power failures, voltage fluctuations and data loss. It delivers 700 W (0.7 kVA) output power, supports rack (2U) or tower installation and includes eight C13 outlets and a 9 Ah battery for short-term backup. The unit meets VFI-SS-111 standards and is built for reliable, continuous supply in professional environments.

Advantages

XANTO double-conversion technology fully decouples the load from the mains, so even severe voltage fluctuations, peaks and harmonic distortion do not affect connected devices. Dynamic Power Technology (DPT) increases available active power where needed, allowing more effective use of the UPS capacity compared with conventional systems. The model features high efficiency (up to 97%), reduced operating costs, extended autonomy compared with its predecessor, and flexible installation as either a 2U rack or tower.

Suitable for

• Small servers and rack-mounted network equipment
• Critical IT devices and workstations requiring clean power
• Environments where rack or tower mounting is needed
• Short-term backup and orderly shutdown of systems

How to use

Install the XANTO 700R either in a 19" rack using the supplied mounting angle or place it as a tower unit. Connect critical equipment to the UPS’s C13 outlets and ensure the mains input is connected to a stable supply. Configure the UPS settings and battery deep-discharge protection via the front menu or using the included DataWatch software over RS-232 or USB. For orderly shutdown of multiple servers, install the RCCMD agent or use the optional SNMP adapter for remote monitoring and shutdown procedures.

Recommendations

For extended backup times, add approved external battery packs and verify configuration through DataWatch. Use the switchable output sockets to disconnect non-critical loads during battery operation to extend runtime for essential devices. Consider the SNMP adapter (professional version) and optional temperature/humidity sensors for remote monitoring and integration into server environments.
