Recommendations

Place the HmIP-WRC2-2 where manual access is needed and avoid installing it in locations exposed to moisture or direct water spray. For optimal RF performance, maintain reasonable line-of-sight to other Homematic IP devices or use repeaters/extenders where building structure causes signal attenuation. Use quality AAA batteries to ensure longer service life and reliable communication.
