Optische disc BD-R 25GB INTENSO 5101114 bedrukbaar 6x snelheid

INTENSO BD-R 25GB printable is a single-write Blu-ray recordable disc with 25 gigabytes of usable storage and a printable top surface. Designed for one-time recording, the disc supports write speeds up to 6x and is compatible with standard BD-R capable drives. It is intended for archiving high-definition video, data backups and distribution of large files where a reliable, physical master copy is required.

Advantages

The disc offers a high-capacity medium for storing large volumes of data on a single physical disc while maintaining compatibility with common Blu-ray burners and players that support BD-R media. The printable surface allows direct labeling using compatible inkjet or thermal printers, helping to create professional-looking discs without adhesive labels. With 6x maximum write speed, recording times for full-capacity burns are reasonable for desktop and standalone BD writers. As a single-write medium, it provides a fixed, non-rewritable copy suitable for long-term archives and distribution masters.

Suitable for

• Archiving HD video and home movie collections
• Long-term data backup and cold storage
• Creating one-time master copies for distribution
• Storing large datasets, software images or project deliverables

Key specifications

• Storage capacity: 25 GB (single-layer)
• Media type: BD-R (recordable, single-write)
• Maximum write speed: up to 6x
• Surface: printable top side for direct disc printing
• Compatibility: standard BD-R compatible drives and players
• Intended use: archival and distribution of large files

How to use

Insert the disc into a BD-R compatible optical drive recognized by your operating system and authoring software. Select the disc as the target medium in your burn or backup application, choose the appropriate write speed (selecting a lower speed than the maximum can improve burn reliability on some drives), and start the recording process. Allow the burn to complete without interruption; once finalized, the BD-R disc is not rewritable. If using a disc printer, follow the printer manufacturer’s instructions for printable BD-R media to ensure correct alignment and ink compatibility.

Recommendations

Store discs vertically in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For important archives, verify the recorded data after burning and consider duplicating critical content on multiple discs or additional storage methods. When printing labels, use printers and inks specified for printable Blu-ray media to avoid smudging and ensure longevity.
