Optische HDMI-kabel ShiverPeaks 4K 60Hz, zwart, lengte 50,00 m

The ShiverPeaks Optical HDMI cable 4K 60Hz in black is a 50.00 m passive cable engineered to transmit HDMI video and audio signals over long distances using fiber-optic technology. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz and is designed for installations that require stable high-bandwidth connections between source devices and displays or AV equipment while avoiding the signal loss and electromagnetic interference common with long copper runs.

Advantages

This optical HDMI cable provides consistent 4K/60Hz signal transmission across an extended 50 m run while remaining passive and easy to install. The optical medium reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and ground-loop issues, helping to preserve image clarity and audio fidelity. Its black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance for professional and residential installations and the cable maintains HDMI signal characteristics suitable for modern TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers.

Suitable for

• Connecting a 4K TV to a distant AV receiver or set-top box where copper HDMI would degrade signal quality
• Long-reach connections to projectors in conference rooms, auditoriums or classrooms
• Home theater setups requiring a single-cable solution for video and multichannel audio over long distances
• Digital signage and commercial displays installed far from source equipment

Key specifications

• Supported resolution: up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz
• Cable type: optical HDMI (fiber-optic core for signal transmission)
• Length: 50.00 m
• Connector type: standard HDMI connectors (male-to-male)
• Shielding and jacket: black outer jacket for discreet routing and protection
• Audio support: full HDMI audio formats compatible with source and sink devices

How to use

Connect one HDMI end to the source device (Blu-ray player, media streamer, PC or AV receiver) and the other end to the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure that both devices are powered off during initial connection to reduce the chance of hot-plug detection issues. After connecting, power on the devices and set the output resolution on the source to 4K at 60 Hz if supported. If audio or video is not detected, check connector seating and try a different HDMI input on the display to rule out input-specific limitations.

Recommendations

For reliable performance maintain gentle bend radii and avoid tight kinks or sharp bends to protect the fiber core. Use cable management and strain relief near connectors, and route the cable away from heavy electrical equipment where possible. Verify compatibility of connected devices for 4K/60Hz and HDCP requirements; if handshake issues occur, power-cycle both source and sink devices after checking connections.
