Origin Storage Datalogic QuickScan - QBT2131 - kabel - met cradle

The Datalogic QuickScan QBT2131 handheld bar code reader is designed for reliable 1D linear barcode capture in retail, utilities, document processing and packaging environments. Its extra-wide field of view and extra-long, sharp scan line make long bar codes easier to read at close range, while the enhanced depth of field enables intuitive scanning distances. The device supports both wired and wireless connection options — Bluetooth® Wireless Technology (up to 25.0 m / 82.0 ft) and USB — and is compatible with Android and iOS devices via the Bluetooth HID profile. The scanner is lightweight and features a long-lasting, user-replaceable lithium-ion battery with USB/microUSB charging as an alternative.

Advantages

The QuickScan QBT2131 combines a wide scan angle and extended scan line with a highly visible, sharp aiming line to simplify capture of long or narrow bar codes. Bluetooth connectivity and HID support allow easy pairing with tablets and mobile devices without additional software. The scanner includes a tool-free, replaceable battery design, optional USB charging, and Datalogic’s Green Spot for clear good-read feedback, providing practical usability and reduced downtime.

Replace the battery without tools when required and recharge via the base station or the USB/microUSB port if using the alternative charging method.

Recommendations

Use the extra-wide field of view and long scan line for close-range scanning of long-format bar codes; maintain a steady aim and ensure the code is clean and free of obstructions. When using mobile devices, connect via the Bluetooth HID profile to avoid additional driver installation. Replace the battery with the authorised Datalogic battery to preserve charging contact alignment and device reliability.
