Over-ear dj-koptelefoon Omnitronic SHP-740DJ met 40-mm-drivers

Omnitronic SHP-740DJ are over-ear DJ headphones with 40 mm drivers engineered for monitoring and mixing in stage, live and home studio environments. The closed-back design reduces ambient noise and improves isolation for accurate cueing and critical listening. An adjustable headband and padded earcups provide extended comfort for long sessions, while reinforced construction supports frequent transport and intensive use.

Advantages

The closed-back earcup construction delivers focused sound and effective passive isolation, allowing precise monitoring in loud environments. 40 mm drivers offer a balanced frequency response with clear mids and controlled bass suitable for DJing and mixing. The adjustable headband and soft padding ensure a stable fit and reduced pressure over extended periods. Robust materials and a reinforced joint design increase durability for professional use.

How to use

Place the headphones over the ears and adjust the headband until a secure and comfortable fit is achieved. Connect the cable to your mixer, controller or playback device, taking advantage of single-sided routing to keep the cable clear of controls. Use cues to check levels and stereo balance, and rely on the closed-back isolation to minimize bleed from stage or room sound. For mixing, periodically compare the headphone mix to monitors or speakers to verify translation.

Recommendations

To prolong lifespan and maintain sound quality, avoid exposing the headphones to extreme temperatures or moisture, store them in a protective case when not in use, and replace earcup pads as they wear. Adjust listening levels to safe volumes to prevent hearing fatigue during long sessions.
