How to use

Place the Hawk HWPS801BK strip on a stable surface near the devices to be protected, ensuring the 1.5 m power cable can reach a wall outlet without strain. Connect the strip to the mains and then plug devices into the available outlets. Turn devices on in the normal sequence; the strip provides continuous surge protection once connected to mains power. Do not overload the strip by connecting equipment that exceeds the rated capacity of typical consumer power strips.

Recommendations

Install the unit in a dry, well-ventilated location and avoid placing it under rugs or in enclosed spaces that may trap heat. Regularly inspect the power cable and housing for damage; replace the strip if any signs of wear are found. For critical or high-value equipment, consider using higher-rated protection or uninterruptible power supplies in addition to this surge protector.
