The Fissler 084-388-28-200/0 Round Stainless steel 28 cm pan lid is a precision-made cover designed to fit cookware with a 28 cm diameter. Constructed from polished stainless steel, the lid creates a close-fitting seal to conserve heat and moisture during simmering, boiling and steaming. Its flat profile and durable finish make it suitable for frequent kitchen use and for maintaining an even cooking environment across a range of pots and pans.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and easy maintenance while offering a neutral appearance that matches most cookware. The close fit improves energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and helps retain aromas and nutrients in food. The robust rim and well-proportioned handle ensure safe handling and long-term durability under regular use.

• Material: stainless steel
• Shape: round
• Intended diameter: 28 cm
• Surface finish: polished

How to use

Place the lid on a compatible pot or pan with a 28 cm opening so that the rim sits evenly on the cookware. Use the lid to trap steam and heat while cooking at low to medium temperatures to promote even cooking and reduce evaporation. Lift the lid by the handle to check progress, taking care to tilt it away from you to avoid steam burns. After use, allow the lid to cool before cleaning according to the manufacturer's care recommendations.

Recommendations

For best performance, match the lid to cookware with the same rim diameter and avoid exposing the handle to direct flame on open stoves. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the polished finish.
