Patchbox netwerkkabel Cat6a U/FTP (STP) violet 2,5 m RJ-45 naar RJ-45 10Gbps

Patchbox Cat6a U/FTP (STP) networking cable, 2.5 m length in violet, terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts. The cable is designed for 10 Gbps Ethernet and structured cabling applications; its U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference for reliable high-speed links in data centers, offices and home networks.

Advantages

The Cat6a U/FTP (STP) construction delivers tested performance for 10 Gbps channels and improved immunity to external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide stable connections and corrosion resistance. Available in a violet color for easy identification and modular use within PATCHBOX® cassettes and frames. The cable supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications according to the cable category.

Suitable for

• 10 Gbps Ethernet backbones and server links
• Structured cabling in offices and data centers
• Patch panels and PATCHBOX® cassettes and frames
• High-density network racks requiring reduced crosstalk

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 2.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps (10 000 Mbit/s)
• Colour: violet
• PoE capability: compatible with PoE standards for Cat6a cabling

How to use

Connect the cable by inserting each RJ-45 end into the corresponding Ethernet port on the network device and the patch panel or switch until the connector latches. Route the cable through the PATCHBOX® cassette or frame if used, ensuring the cable follows the cassette's cable management path to avoid tight bends; maintain standard installation bend radii and avoid tight kinks. For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for structured cabling and avoid running parallel to strong electrical sources.

Recommendations

For optimal installation, combine this Cat6a U/FTP cable with matching PATCHBOX® cassettes and frames, select shielded terminations where system grounding is implemented, and preserve separation from high-voltage power cabling to minimise EMI. Verify PoE power requirements against device and infrastructure specifications before deployment.
