Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 0,15m zwart

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a high-quality 0.15 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP shielding to reduce interference. Designed to meet industry standards, this Cat.6 cable delivers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin for reliable performance in demanding network environments. The black cable is compact and suitable for short connections in racks, patch panels, and desktop setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat.6 specification ensures higher bandwidth and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables. Short 0.15 m length reduces cable clutter and signal loss in confined installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors guarantee compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections in server racks and patch panels
• Desktop and workstation network links
• Connections between nearby switches and routers
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network cards. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Use the cable for short-distance links; avoid bending the cable sharply and keep it clear of strong sources of electromagnetic interference for optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results in rack or patch-panel installations, route the 0.15 m patch cord without excessive twisting and maintain strain relief at connector ends. Use in combination with Cat.6-rated infrastructure to preserve the cable’s performance characteristics.
