Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 2,0m oranje

The equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 2.0 m network cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office environments. Constructed from high-quality materials and fully tested to meet industry standards, this Cat.6 S/FTP cable provides higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin for stable, high-speed data transmission. The cable uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and comes in an orange colour for easy identification.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity over the 2.0 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the Cat.6 specification supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds and lower error rates compared with lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Wired network connections for desktop PCs and laptops
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small office setups
• Home networking for streaming, gaming and file transfer
• Temporary or permanent structured cabling runs requiring visible colour coding

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall jack. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure with cable ties or clips if necessary. The cable is ready for immediate use and requires no additional configuration beyond standard network settings.

Recommendations

Use the orange colour to simplify cable management and identification in patch panels or crowded wiring installations. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidance.
