Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 7,5 m oranje

The Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 7.5 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, designed for gigabit Ethernet and shielded for reduced interference. Constructed from quality materials and tested to industry standards, this Cat.6 S/FTP cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates and provides reliable high-speed connectivity in structured cabling environments. Its orange jacket improves visibility within cable installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers strong protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while Cat.6 construction delivers higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower categories. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The 7.5 m length covers medium-distance connections between network devices in offices or data closets.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (1000 Mbit/s)
• Office and data center horizontal cabling
• Connecting switches, routers, PCs and patch panels
• Installations where cable visibility is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Product colour: Orange
• Weight: 0.292 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or computer and the other into the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. The cable is ready for immediate use with compatible 10/100/1000Base-T(X) equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius, do not stretch the cable, and maintain proper cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. Use the orange colour to separate and identify critical network links within structured cabling.
