Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 U/UTP RJ-45 0,25m zwart

The equip® Cat.6 U/UTP Patch Cable (0.25 m) with RJ-45 connectors is a compact network cable designed for short connections in structured cabling and active equipment. Constructed from quality materials and tested to industry standards, this black patch cable supports 10GBase-T cabling technology and data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s while maintaining low interference thanks to its U/UTP design.

Advantages

This Cat.6 U/UTP patch cable provides higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. The short 0.25 m length reduces excess slack in patch panels and switch-to-device connections, and the cable’s construction is suitable for demanding network environments that require stable, error-minimized transmission.

Suitable for

• Short connections between switches, patch panels and servers
• High-speed 10GBase-T network links over short distances
• Office and rack-mounted equipment wiring where minimal cable slack is needed

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports (for example, switch, patch panel or device). Ensure connectors click into place and avoid excessive bending near the connector ends. Use the 0.25 m length for tidy, short-distance connections in racks or workstations; route the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable 10GBase-T performance, keep the cable length appropriate for short patching runs and avoid electromagnetic interference sources. Inspect connectors before installation and replace the cable if physical damage is visible.
