Patchkabel ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 — model 08-35015, ethernet hogesnelheid

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable model 08-35015 is a high-speed Ethernet patch lead designed for reliable LAN connections. This Category 7 unshielded/UTP cable with RJ45 connectors is intended for short to medium distance links between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels and endpoints in offices, server closets and home networks. The cable provides performance characteristics suited to modern Gigabit and higher-speed network environments while maintaining a compact, flexible form factor for neat installations.

Advantages

The cable combines Category 7 performance characteristics with U/UTP topology, delivering improved frequency range and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category patch leads. RJ45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment, while the flexible jacket and moderate length make routing and cable management easier in dense rack and workstation environments. The product is built for consistent electrical performance and dependable contact integrity for repeated plug cycles.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office networks
• Short runs between network devices in server rooms and data closets
• High-speed Ethernet links for desktop PCs and workstations
• Home network cabling requiring category-rated patch leads

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 (U/UTP) suitable for high-frequency Ethernet applications
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends for standard network ports
• Length: 0.5 m (compact patch lead for short connections)
• Conductor and pair topology: multi-pair twisted conductors optimized for reduced interference
• Jacket color: black, flexible outer sheath for easy routing

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector securely into the network ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring the latch clicks to confirm proper seating. Use the patch cable for direct connections between switch ports, router LAN ports and patch panel ports, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension that could damage the internal pairs. For rack installations, route the cable along cable management guides or tie-down points to maintain clean runs and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 7 U/UTP patch cable for short interconnects where higher frequency handling is required. Avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius above manufacturer-recommended minimums. Inspect connectors periodically for wear if subject to frequent unplugging, and replace the cable if electrical performance degrades.
