PETKIT PK-N1 nagelknipper voor dieren LED guillotine kunststof handgreep

The PETKIT PK-N1 Pet Nail Clipper LED Guillotine Plastic Handle is a grooming tool designed for trimming nails of both cats and dogs. It combines a guillotine-style cutting mechanism with an integrated LED light to improve cutting precision and visibility. The plastic handle provides a comfortable, lightweight grip to help maintain steady control while trimming your pet's nails.

Advantages

The guillotine cutting mechanism enables a single, clean shearing motion that reduces the chance of splintering or crushing the nail. The built-in LED light improves visibility of the nail tip and quick area, supporting more accurate trimming. The plastic handle is shaped for ergonomic holding and helps keep the tool lightweight and easy to maneuver. The design is intended for routine home nail maintenance for small to medium pets.

How to use

Hold the clipper with the plastic handle to maintain a steady grip. Position the pet's paw so the nail passes through the guillotine opening and align the blade to the tip of the nail while taking care to avoid the quick. Use the LED light to illuminate the nail and check for the quick before cutting. Make small cuts if unsure, trimming a little at a time until the desired length is reached. After trimming, check for any sharp edges and file lightly if necessary. Follow standard pet-safety practices and keep the clipper clean and dry between uses.

Recommendations

Before the first use, inspect the cutter and LED function. If the pet is unfamiliar with nail trimming, acclimate them gradually by handling paws and performing short sessions. Use the LED light to help identify the quick, and trim in well-lit areas when possible. Store the clipper in a safe place away from moisture. Replace or service the tool if the blade becomes dull or the LED fails.
