Kattenbakmat PETKIT P9221 — honingraatvanger, grijs, 23,6 x 15,7 inch

PETKIT P9221 cat litter mat is a honeycomb-trap mat designed to reduce litter tracking and protect floors around litter boxes. The mat measures 23.6 x 15.7 inches and features a grey, low-profile design that integrates with most interiors. Its honeycomb surface captures debris and loose litter from a cat’s paws while made from durable, non-toxic material that is simple to clean by shaking out or vacuuming.

Advantages

The honeycomb structure efficiently captures litter and small particles while allowing dust and fine debris to settle below the surface, reducing visible mess. Constructed from durable, pet-safe material, the mat withstands repeated cleaning and daily use without degrading. Its dimensions provide coverage for common litter box placements, and the neutral grey color minimizes visual contrast with surrounding flooring. Maintenance is straightforward: shake out trapped litter or use a vacuum to remove residual debris.

Suitable for

• Reducing litter tracking from litter boxes in apartments and houses
• Placement in bathrooms or laundry rooms near pet care areas
• Use in entryways or transitional spaces to capture dirt from paws
• Homes seeking an easy-to-clean, low-profile litter containment solution

Key specifications

• Dimensions: 23.6 x 15.7 inches (approximately)
• Surface type: honeycomb trap structure
• Color: grey
• Material properties: durable, non-toxic, pet-safe
• Cleaning options: shake out, vacuum

How to use

Place the PETKIT P9221 mat directly in front of or around the litter box where your cat exits, or position it in other areas where paw debris accumulates. Allow the honeycomb pockets to capture loose litter as your cat walks across the mat. For routine care, lift and shake the mat outdoors or over a trash bin to remove larger particles, then vacuum the surface and cavities to extract finer dust and remaining litter.

Recommendations

For best results, combine the mat with a litter box positioned so cats naturally step onto the mat when exiting. Regular cleaning—daily for high-traffic households or every few days for lighter use—helps maintain trapping performance and prevents buildup. Avoid placing the mat on uneven or highly absorbent surfaces that could reduce contact with the cat’s paws.
