Kattenbakmat Astropet Jupiter Series AACM-002-PLUS grote maat slijtvast materiaal

Astropet Jupiter Series AACM-002-PLUS large size durable material litter mat is designed to capture cat litter, debris and moisture at the entrance to litter boxes. The large footprint provides extended coverage for multi-cat households and high-traffic zones, reducing tracking and protecting floors. Constructed from robust, easy-to-clean material, the mat lies flat and can be positioned under or in front of a litter tray to collect particles that would otherwise scatter across the floor.

Advantages

The mat’s durable material resists tearing and holds its shape under repeated use while maintaining a textured surface that traps litter grains effectively. Its generous dimensions give broader coverage, decreasing the frequency of floor cleaning. The surface is water-resistant and helps contain dampness, and the mat is compatible with most litter boxes and floor types. Cleaning is straightforward: shake, sweep, vacuum or rinse as needed.

Suitable for

• Multi-cat households where litter tracking is common
• Homes with high-traffic bathroom or utility areas
• Owners who need a low-maintenance solution to protect floors near litter boxes
• Situations requiring a large, slip-resistant surface for pet hygiene

Key specifications

• Size: large footprint suitable for full litter tray coverage and extra surrounding area
• Material: durable, tear-resistant synthetic material with textured surface for particle capture
• Surface properties: water-resistant and quick-drying
• Maintenance: suitable for shaking out, vacuuming, sweeping or rinsing with water
• Design: flat profile for stable placement and compatibility with different litter box shapes

How to use

Place the mat directly in front of or beneath the litter box so the opening and surrounding area are covered. Encourage cats to step onto the mat when exiting the litter tray; the textured surface will remove and retain loose litter. For best results position the mat on a flat, dry floor surface and avoid folding or bunching. If the mat is used under a tray, ensure air circulation around the box to reduce moisture buildup.

Recommendations

Routine maintenance will keep the mat effective: shake or vacuum daily to remove loose litter, and rinse with mild soap and water periodically. Allow the mat to air dry completely before returning it to use. Avoid exposure to open flames or very high heat, and do not use abrasive cleaners that could damage the textured surface.
