Philips 3000 series DST3010/30 strijkijzer stoomstrijkijzer keramische zool 2000 W

The Philips 3000 series DST3010/30 steam iron combines a ceramic soleplate, 2000 W heating power and a compact, lightweight design to support everyday ironing. The ceramic soleplate is engineered to glide smoothly over fabrics while distributing steam evenly. A 0.3 L water tank and a vertical steam function expand usability to remove creases from hanging garments and curtains. The iron is supplied with a 1.9 m cord and comes in a white and purple finish; packaging is designed to be recyclable.

Advantages

The ceramic soleplate provides consistent glide and surface durability for a range of textiles. With 2000 W of power, the iron heats up quickly to reduce waiting time and maintain stable steam output. The 0.3 L water tank supports uninterrupted ironing sessions for typical household loads, while the vertical steam function allows for steaming garments on hangers. At approximately 1.5 kg, the iron is lightweight to handle and manoeuvre, and the long 1.9 m cord increases freedom of movement around the ironing board.

How to use

Fill the water tank up to the indicated level before plugging in the iron, and set the temperature according to the garment care labels. Allow the iron to reach the required temperature and use steam settings appropriate for the fabric type. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright at a short distance from the fabric and apply short bursts of steam to relax fibres and remove wrinkles. After use, empty any remaining water and store the iron in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if local tap water is hard to reduce mineral buildup. Clean the ceramic soleplate with a soft cloth when cool and follow the manufacturer's care instructions to preserve steam performance and product lifespan.
