Philips 7000 Serie DST7051/30 HV Strijkijzer Donkerpaars

The Philips 7000 series DST7051/30 steam iron delivers rapid heating and steady steam performance for everyday garment care. With 2800 W power and a SteamGlide Elite soleplate, this iron is engineered to remove creases efficiently while protecting fabric surfaces. The compact 0.3 L water tank and 2 m power cord provide practical flexibility for home use. The iron supports vertical steam to refresh hanging garments and is designed for 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz mains supply.

Advantages

The SteamGlide Elite soleplate offers optimal gliding and enhanced scratch resistance, improving longevity and smooth movement across different textiles. High power (2800 W) ensures fast heat-up and consistent steam generation for efficient ironing sessions. The 0.3 L water tank and Quick Calc Release system contribute to lower maintenance and sustained steam performance over time. Vertical steam capability allows convenient steaming of curtains and suits without an ironing board.

Suitable for

• Daily ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Smoothing hard-to-reach areas and seams
• Refreshing hanging garments and drapes using vertical steam
• Home users who need a reliable iron with quick heat-up

How to use

Fill the 0.3 L water tank with clean tap water up to the indicated level, then plug the iron into a compatible 220–240 V outlet. Allow the iron to reach working temperature; the high-power heater shortens heat-up time. Set the temperature and steam settings appropriate to the fabric being ironed and glide the iron gently over the garment. Use the vertical steam function to remove wrinkles from hanging clothes or drapes, keeping the iron upright and moving slowly across the fabric.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal steam performance, use tap water according to local hardness recommendations and empty the tank after prolonged storage. Periodically use the Quick Calc Release to remove scale deposits. Always follow garment care labels and start ironing on lower temperature settings for delicate fabrics.
