A slim black housing and dimmable driver provide adjustable illumination for rooms, corridors, bathrooms and utility areas. The product is offered with an IP44-level design intended for protection against splashing water in suitable indoor locations.

Advantages

This ceiling light combines low energy consumption with a warm, comfortable light output, providing up to 1500 lm while drawing 18 W. The dimmable function enables gradual brightness adjustment to match tasks and ambience. The surface-mounted, compact design and black finish simplify installation and integration into practical interiors. An IP44-rated construction increases installation options by allowing use in damp zones such as bathrooms and corridors when installed according to local rules.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This luminaire provides a warm white output at 2700 K and is intended for general ambient lighting rather than colour-critical work or high-contrast task lighting. It is surface-mounted and therefore not designed for recessed or flush installations. For exterior exposed locations or fully wet environments, a higher IP-rated fixture should be chosen.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For consistent performance, pair this Philips surface LED with a dimmer certified for LED use and install in indoor locations where splash protection is required but not continuous water exposure. Use multiple fixtures spaced evenly for corridors or larger rooms to achieve uniform illumination and avoid excessive brightness contrast.
