PIR-bewegingsmelder Renkforce 1296308 360° relais wit IP20, plafond-/wandmontage

The Renkforce PIR motion sensor 1296308 is a white indoor detector designed for ceiling or wall mounting. With 360° coverage and an integrated relay output, the sensor detects movement to switch lighting or other electrical loads automatically. The IP20 rating indicates protection suitable for dry indoor environments while the compact housing supports discreet installation in corridors, rooms and common areas.

Advantages

This PIR motion sensor provides full-circle detection to cover broad areas without the need for multiple units. The built-in relay output enables direct control of lamps or low-power circuits without additional control modules. Its ceiling/wall mount design simplifies installation and positioning for reliable detection, and the white finish integrates with standard interior fixtures. The IP20 classification makes it appropriate for indoor applications where moisture exposure is minimal.

Suitable for

• Indoor corridors and hallways
• Stairwells and landing areas
• Office rooms and meeting spaces
• Utility rooms and storage areas
• Automatic lighting control in residential and commercial interiors

Key specifications

• Detection angle: 360° coverage
• Mounting: ceiling or wall
• Output: integrated relay for switching electrical loads
• Protection rating: IP20 (indoor use, not water-resistant)
• Color and finish: white housing suitable for standard interiors

How to use

Mount the sensor on a ceiling or a wall at the recommended height according to the installation manual to achieve the intended 360° detection pattern. Connect the sensor wiring to the lighting or load circuit using the relay output, ensuring power is switched off during installation. Adjust any available sensitivity or time-delay settings as required for the application. After installation, test the sensor by walking through the detection area to confirm consistent switching behavior.

Recommendations

Install the sensor in a dry indoor location away from direct drafts, heating vents or air-conditioner outlets to reduce false triggers. Position the unit to avoid obstructions in the detection field and follow local electrical regulations when connecting the relay output to lighting or control circuits. For areas exposed to moisture or outdoors, choose a device with a higher protection rating.
