Plakband Tesa 4668 MDPE 50 mm x 33 m transparant — PE-folieband

Tesa 4668 MDPE 50 mm x 33 m transparent — PE film tape is a clear, tear-resistant film tape intended for sealing, bundling and light-duty packaging. With a 50 mm width and 33 m roll length, the tape provides consistent, clean unwind for manual application in offices, warehouses and retail environments. The transparent PE film construction ensures an unobtrusive finish while offering reliable adhesion to a variety of substrates, making it suitable where visibility of underlying labels or content is required.

Advantages

The tape combines a transparent low-noise PE film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for good initial tack and residue-free removal from many surfaces. Its 50 mm width delivers broader coverage per wrap compared with narrow tapes, reducing application time for sealing small to medium parcels. The film resists tearing in cross-direction and maintains dimensional stability during handling, while the roll length balances frequency of replacement with manageable roll size for hand dispensers.

Key specifications

• Material: PE (polyethylene) film
• Color: Transparent/clear
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 33 m
• Adhesive type: Pressure-sensitive adhesive designed for good initial tack and clean unwind
• Tear resistance: Film offers cross-direction tear resistance for hand application
• Application method: Manual application; compatible with standard hand dispensers sized for 50 mm rolls

How to use

Ensure the surface is dry and reasonably clean before applying the tape. Unwind the tape from the roll and press it onto the substrate with even pressure to secure adhesion. For sealing parcels, apply tape along the seam and add additional strips across edges or corners as needed. For bundling, wrap the tape firmly around the items with overlapping turns to achieve the required hold. Cut or tear the tape manually or with a compatible dispenser blade.

Recommendations

Store the rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve adhesive performance. For best results on dusty or rough surfaces, test adhesion first on a sample area. When using in automated or specialized dispensers, verify compatibility with 50 mm PE film rolls and adjust tension to avoid stretching.
