Plastic modelbouwset REVELL ARADO AR 196A-3 watervliegtuig schaal 1:32

Plastic scale model kit of the REVELL ARADO AR 196A-3 seaplane in 1:32 scale. This injection-moulded kit contains detailed parts to assemble a single-engine reconnaissance floatplane replica with cockpit details, floats and control surfaces. The kit is designed for glue-and-paint assembly and produces a large, display-quality model when finished. It is aimed at hobby modellers and collectors who want a historically themed build in a prominent 1:32 scale.

Advantages

The kit offers high-fidelity moulding with finely engraved panel lines and realistic surface detail appropriate to a 1:32 scale model. Parts are arranged on sprues for clear identification and assembly, and the design includes accurate components for the aircraft's floats, cockpit and external fittings. The larger scale allows for improved interior and exterior detail compared with smaller scales, making the finished model suitable for display or diorama use.

How to use

Carefully remove parts from the sprues and clean any flash or moulding marks before assembly. Follow the included instruction sheets to sequence subassemblies such as cockpit, fuselage halves, wings and floats. Use model glue for plastic parts and appropriate paints for finishing; allow adequate drying time between coats. Decals can be applied after painting and sealing with a clear coat to protect the finish. Final assembly may require minor adjustments to align control surfaces and float fittings for an accurate display model.

Recommendations

Use fine sandpaper and a hobby knife for clean part preparation, and select enamel or acrylic model paints recommended for injection-moulded plastic. Work in a well-ventilated area and use masking tape for crisp paint edges. The kit is best suited to modellers with some prior experience; beginners should allow extra time for learning assembly and painting techniques.
