Shuttle-model Bandai TIE Fighter 1:72

The Shuttle model Bandai TIE Fighter 1:72 is a plastic assembly kit representing the iconic TIE Fighter in a 1:72 scale. The completed model measures approximately 100 mm in length and recreates the characteristic twin ion engines and hexagonal solar panels associated with the original Imperial design. Intended for adult collectors and hobbyists, the kit focuses on accurate proportions and surface details to produce a compact display model.

Advantages

This model kit provides a precise scale reproduction with attention to the TIE Fighter's distinctive silhouette and paneling. Parts are molded for easy fitting and painting, allowing modellers to achieve clean seams and realistic surface finish. How to use

Assemble the model by removing parts from sprues, cleaning flash, and following the included pictorial instructions for sequential construction. Dry-fit parts before applying adhesive to ensure correct alignment. Use appropriate plastic model cement for joining components and thin solvent-based glues for tight seams. Once assembled, sand any joins lightly and apply primer before painting with compatible model paints to achieve the desired finish.

Recommendations

Not suitable for children under 36 months. Work in a well-ventilated area when using adhesives and paints. Keep small parts and tools out of reach of young children. Use appropriate safety gear such as gloves and eye protection during cutting, sanding, and gluing operations.
