How to use

Measure the required run and cut the cable to length. Route the flat cable along the chosen path, securing it with appropriate clips or adhesive channels to prevent movement. Strip the outer sheath and assign conductors according to the telephone system wiring standard in use, then terminate with the correct TAE or modular (RJ-xx) connector. Test the line for continuity and voice quality before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension when installing the flat cable. Use proper termination tools and perform a continuity test after installation. Keep runs away from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
