PTZ-camera Bosch AUTODOME IP Starlight NDP-5522-Z30L 2MP, PTZ met 30-voudige zoom

Bosch AUTODOME IP Starlight NDP-5522-Z30L is a 2MP PTZ camera engineered for continuous surveillance in IP-based security systems. The camera combines high-sensitivity Starlight imaging with a 30x optical zoom and smooth pan-tilt mechanisms to deliver clear, detailed images at varying distances and in low-light conditions. It supports remote PTZ control and real-time streaming, making it suitable for applications that require active monitoring and identification in both outdoor and indoor environments.

Advantages

The Starlight sensor provides improved low-light performance, producing usable color images at very low illumination levels and enabling better recognition after dusk. The 30x optical zoom allows operators to bring distant subjects into close view without losing image clarity. Motorized pan and tilt provide wide area coverage and fast repositioning, while network connectivity supports remote access, live viewing and integration with video management systems. The camera’s design supports reliable operation in a range of installation scenarios and facilitates rapid event response through precise PTZ control.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and campus surveillance where long-range identification is required
• Traffic monitoring and intersection observation
• Large indoor spaces such as warehouses, shopping centers and transit hubs
• Critical infrastructure sites requiring active tracking and remote control

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 2 megapixels
• Optical zoom: 30x
• Low-light technology: Starlight high-sensitivity imaging
• PTZ capabilities: motorized pan and tilt with remote control
• Network: IP-based streaming and remote access
• Real-time video: support for live monitoring and integration with VMS
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations (environmental protection depends on mounting and enclosure)

How to use

Install the camera following the site plan and mounting guidelines for the chosen location, ensuring a stable network connection and appropriate power supply. Configure the camera’s network settings and integrate it with the video management system or client software to enable remote PTZ control and live streaming. Use the optical zoom and pan-tilt controls from the operator console to frame distant subjects, adjust presets for frequently monitored areas, and record footage according to storage and retention policies.

Recommendations

Place the camera where the 30x zoom can be used without obstructions, and verify sightlines at multiple zoom levels. For optimal low-light performance, avoid direct illumination into the lens and use complementary site lighting where necessary. Regularly check firmware updates and VMS compatibility to maintain security and functionality.
