FiberX HDMI-kabel 15m FX-I380-015 2.1 48 Gbit/s zwart

The FiberX FX-I380-015 is a 15 meter long HDMI 2.1 AOC (active optical cable) hybrid cable designed for AV transmissions up to 48 Gbit/s (HDMI Ultra High Speed). It uses optical fibers for the audio/video stream and copper conductors for power and control signals, maintaining signal integrity over long distances. Both ends have HDMI Type A aluminium connectors with gold-plated contacts. The cable is unidirectional, consumes no external power (powered via HDMI 5V) and is halogen-free.

Advantages

The hybrid fiber-and-copper design provides immunity to electromagnetic interference and low attenuation for stable 8K/UltraHD-2 transmission up to 48 Gbit/s, supporting HDCP 2.3, ARC/eARC and transparent EDID. Its 4.5 mm diameter enables a small bend radius (static 45 mm / dynamic 90 mm) for easy routing in tight installations. Aluminium connector bodies with gold-plated precision contacts offer corrosion resistance and reliable long-term connections. ATC certification applies for cable lengths up to 20 meters.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting HDMI 2.1 sources and displays over long distances (15 m) while preserving full bandwidth
• Professional AV installations in racks, conference rooms and digital signage
• Home theatre setups requiring 4K/8K video with high-quality audio and HDCP support

How to use

Check the cables directional markings and connect the source-side marked end to the HDMI output of your source device and the display-side end to the HDMI input of the display. Plug both HDMI Type A connectors firmly into the respective ports. No external power or drivers are required; the cable receives power from the HDMI source. Do not force the cable into bends smaller than the recommended radii to avoid damage to the optical fibers.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable in HDMI 2.1-compatible systems and ensure the correct orientation when connecting. Avoid repeated tight bending near the connectors and keep the cable free from sharp kinks. For installations longer than 20 m, verify ATC certification requirements and compatibility with your AV devices.
