QUADRIOS 1908CA068 krimpkous 28 mm zwart 2:1 niet klevend

Damaged cable insulation and exposed wiring create short-circuit and corrosion risks. This heat shrink tubing seals out moisture and provides durable electrical insulation for 28 mm diameter cables and components.

Who is it for

Electricians, automotive technicians, and maintenance crews who need reliable insulation for larger cables, connectors, and splices without adhesive residue.

Main features

• 2:1 shrink ratio: shrinks from 28 mm to 14 mm for a tight fit
• Non-adhesive polyolefin: clean removal without sticky residue
• Flame retardant and self-extinguishing for safer installations
• Wide operating range from -55°C to +125°C
• Good resistance to UV, chemicals, and abrasion

Specifications

• Colour: Black
• Material: Polyolefin
• Shrink ratio: 2:1
• Inner diameter before shrinking: 28 mm
• Inner diameter after shrinking: 14 mm
• Operating temperature: -55°C to +125°C
• Minimum shrink temperature: +70°C
• Full recovery temperature: +110°C
• Dielectric strength: 15 kV/mm
• Tensile strength: 10.4 MPa
• Elongation at break: 200%

Tips

Use a heat gun set to at least 110°C for full recovery. Ensure the tubing is centred over the splice before heating to achieve a uniform seal.
